Confidential and Sustainable Recovery
We serve veterans who are looking to receive counseling & support in order to maintain abstinence from an addictive substance that has negatively impacted their lives.
Many San Diego military veterans come to our program to receive the support of our talented and multidisciplinary team who can work through the issues that are contributing to their substance misuse. The professional approach & confidential setting of our program appeals to San Diego executives who also appreciate the flexibility that our outpatient model affords.
Some of our clients arrive here as part of a longer continuum of care, after having completed an intensive residential addiction program. With the help of our caring team, they are able to receive ongoing outpatient recovery support as they return to their home & careers.
Whatever reason brings someone to the door of our treatment program, they will receive confidential, long-term addiction treatment that supports sustainable recovery.
Lasting Support
One in seven Americans will develop a substance use disorder at some point in their lifetime. Most will not be successful at sobriety without ongoing support. Confidential Recovery believes the stigma of addiction and treatment must be removed to help clients along the road to recovery - it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Individualized and Continued Treatment
Underlying Addiction: CR’s treatment is mindful of the role that past traumas (PTSD), relationships and mood disorders have on an individual's battle with addiction. We cater our treatment to help individuals garner interpersonal and emotional regulation skills conducive to effective, sustainable behavioral choices – actions in line with their values and goals - through evidence-based methods such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, Mindfulness Meditation and EMDR.
Continued Treatment: Confidential Recovery is a great option for continued treatment and support after discharging from a detox clinic or a residential addiction program. CR is also a perfect beginning for those clients who are “higher-functioning” and don’t wish to do residential treatment, are trying sober living, private therapy, working, or have parenting responsibilities.
MAT: We provide and support Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), a treatment that has been proven to increase the chances of recovery.
Partnership with TriWest
Now Tri-West is welcoming Confidential Recovery as a Veterans Affairs Patient-Centered Community Care (VAPC3) provider. Tri-West is pleased to announce that they “value Confidential Recovery’s participation and commitment to deliver healthcare services to the dedicated men and women who have served in the United States military”. Our veterans are a very vulnerable population, with many veterans self-medicating untreated PTSD with substances and compounding their problems.
Confidential Recovery’s staff includes veterans in recovery who can offer peer counseling and guidance as they lay a course for the recovery of their clients. With Tri-West, Confidential Recovery can now serve even more of those who have served.
