Confidential CEO on NBC 7 San Diego to Discuss Call for Presidential Candidates' Fentanyl Plan

Confidential Recovery CEO Scott H. Silverman recently made a public request to both Presidential Candidates, Kamala Harris and Donald J. Trump, asking to see their fentanyl plan. NBC San Diego brought him on the news to discuss this request on Fentanyl Awareness Day (August 21st, 2024).

"We're seeing more and more people taking something laced with fentanyl, and that's going to require federal leadership and empowerment at the state and local levels to put the tools in place, said Scott." Scott pointed out that the criminal justice system can only do so much against a problem of this size, we need to do a better job of spreading awareness and educating people of all ages about the dangers of fentanyl.

How does Scott think we can educate ourselves and get away from this deadly scourge? "It's got to start at school, and it's got to be part of the conversation at home. We've done it with seatbelts, we've done it with smoking, so we, as a country, know how to do it."
