Confidential CEO Discusses Fentanyl and Opioids on America Trends

Scott H. Silverman discussed fentanyl and the opioid crisis on America Trends earlier this month.

In talking with Mary Burke Godwin, Scott discussed how the fentanyl overdose epidemic. Scott discusses how the fentanyl overdose epidemic rages unchecked with ‘accidental overdose’ now the #1 cause of death for people aged 18-45. Opioid overdoses claimed 107,000+ lives last year “that we know about” (per the CDC).

“Fentanyl is a poison” according to Scott, and the more we learn, the more danger is everywhere. For instance, according to legal and medical authorities in California, up to 80% of the illicit drugs in California are laced with fentanyl. A lot of the people who succumb to opioid overdose are taking counterfeit version of another drug (like Xanax/benzodiazepines, Adderall, percocet, or others).
