From Failure to Founder – The Scott H. Silverman Story – Confidential Recovery
In the below video, created by the San Diego County Meth Strike Force, you can hear the remarkable story of our CEO and founder Scott Silverman.
Like so many of those whom Scott has helped, he has struggled with depression and drug use himself.
Was I at a Crossroad or a Cliff?
After receiving prescription medication as part of treatment for his depression, Scott continued mixing in alcohol and illegal drugs, which had a destructive effect on his wellness. Scott found himself "hitting bottom" in 1984 and accepted that he needed help for his problem and pursued treatment and long-term recovery.

A Recent Testimonial
The work you do to help others is truly amazing. A few years ago, my ex boyfriend passed away from an overdose… seeing firsthand how his depression and addictions just completely took over his life, is something that will stick with me forever. He was my best friend for a very long time and it still breaks my heart to know that he couldn’t overcome his demons. It’s so, so important that help is available to people who need it and that they don’t feel ashamed for asking or talking about mental health
So I really just want to say thank you so much for the work you do.
